DDR400 (PC3200), the latest and fastest DDR memory standard, supports bandwidth up to 3.2GB/s to provide enhanced system performance. (Note: PC3200 Max. to 2 banks only; PC2700 Max. to 4 banks only)

Use only the tested and qualified PC3200-DDR400 DIMMs listed below. Other DDR DIMM manufactured by other vendors may not be suitable for this motherboard.

Ok im going to buy 256mb of 433MHz DDR CL2.5 2.5V, Non Parity, NonECC, Unbuffered. Its only going to be 256mb for the time being so im going to miss my 512mb right now. I have 512mb pc2100 and i want to overclock my cpu some and i need better ram so im going to be getting some pc3500 and my mobo will lower it to 3200max! So will i be able to use two of my slots and get 512mb later on with another stick of 3500 or should i just get 3200 ram and skip the 3500 is only a 1 dollar diffences. (i could run my memory @ 400mhz right and cpu pretty high if it can take the push.)

Cool so i can just buy the 3500 now and later on if the 3200 is cheaper than the 3500 just buy the 3200 b/c it will lower anyway! Duh me.

I ordered a 512Mb PC3200 Samsung DIMM in mid-March. It worked fine, however after reading about this company on Anandtech I came to discover that I was sold an overclocked PC2700 module. Their website at the time did not inform me of this. The site has since been updated. They said their website has always said it was overclocked, but it didn't say that when I ordered in March. I do know how to read and I would not have ordered this if the website had said it was really PC2700. I was informed that I couldn't return it past 15 days and if I wanted an actual PC3200 DIMM it would cost $15 more. So that means that I would have to pay an extra $15 to get something that they should have given me in the first place.

I think I remember hearing that buyxtremegear is a shady company... based on their resellerratings it looks like almost all their reviews were left by a company employee (similar typing style, similar naming method)

edit: basic message: go with newegg (assuming you live in the US)
