Quick: Remove Old drivers

I'd probably run it to be on the safe side, though I never uninstalled anything when I changed my nvidia cards.

That's what I'm thinking, but is it really necessary if just switching to another Nvidia card...

Probably not necessary. Like I said, I did abosultely nothing as far as the driver. Just changed the cards out and had 0 problems.
 
I'd just leave the same drivers, at the most I would uninstall them from add/remove programs. You're going to run around and install the exact same drivers after you swap the cards anyway.
