I'm in the process of looking for a full time job, I'll be graduating this coming May. I had an internship this past summer and I'm about to send requests to two of the Lead Software Engineers I worked with this summer. I'm not quite sure how I should go about this...
Both of them work under the same group, and with each other, and I only need one reference from this particular company. So, I'm wondering how should I go about asking them both. Should I:
A) Ask both in the same email (include both in the To: ) saying I only need one...
B) Ask both in separate emails mentioning that I've emailed the other as well
C) Ask one, if they say no, ask the other (I can't imagine they'd say no)
D) Ask both in separate emails, don't mention asking the other...
E) Something else?
