quick RAM question

a quick question about upgrading ram would it be faster for me to buy 2 more 512 sticks and go 4x512 for 2GB of RAM or is it better to go with 2 1GB sticks

im not really considering this at all since i have no probs with only 1GB but hypothetically if i wanted 2GB of RAM would it be better to run 2 sticks or 4 or would the difference not be noticable compared to the price difference of 2x512 vs 2x1024

You won't be able to notice the difference, but 2 x 1GB are better.

4 sticks may lower the fsb speed (depending on the mb) and likely require 2T setting.
