quick questoin about windows 2000

so i got a windows 2000 pro cd, totally legit. but it's only the cd and it's case. i want to know if it's full, or upgrade. nowhere on it does it say upgrade... does this mean it's full?

probably, i looked at mine and ican't find anything saying "full". couldn't find any full specific textfile.. so dunno

If it does not say upgrade.....I'd assume it's full

I have no idea how to tell on the CD's that I have seen.. the one I have does both full install, and upgrades...

Yes, they do sell an upgrade version. I have it and it clearly states on the CD that it's an upgrade. My full CD does not have any lable saying its full.

I dunno if they *sell* it, but it definitely exists. I have a few copies of the media. It's actually the full version of 2k. You can boot to it and kick off the install, but before it will copy the files over it asks you to pop in a legit copy of NT or 9x.
Other than that, it's complete.

Yep I don't know if it was ever sold in stores, but there was a period of time where if you bought a PC from an OEM that came preloaded with NT either the OEM or you could send in a voucher to get a free Win2k Pro upgrade. My company has several hundred of them, actually.
