the speaker that beeps for mobos, does it usually come with the mobo, built in the mobo or what?

Usually comes with the case but a few come attached to the mobo. Some case makers are becoming cheap barstids and not including them any more. I've heard the Antec Nine Hundred lacks one.

Once upon a time, the speaker came with the case and the motherboard used that speaker..

Now lots of Motherboards have built in speakers and don't use the case speaker.
So the case makers quit including the speaker.

That's been my experience, anyways.

usually comes with the case (built in or as an add on). I hear some manufacturers are not adding them (one or two antec cases do not come with them)
