Both come out to about the same price, and I know the Canon is older, but it still is a very good camera, right? I'm also concerned about the ISO 1000 on the D60. How does it's low light shooting compared to the D50? What's noise like at high ISOs compared to the D50? Thanks a bunch! :)

I can get them both with about the same lens for ~$750 shipped. Ah, the Rebel XT! That's a great camera, happy you are having such a great time with yours! :) I would get one if only the grip were a little bigger. For me, I feel as though I have to smash my fingers to hold it well. :(

I'm still a kid but when my hand gets sweaty, it can be a pain to hold. I have a friend with the D60 and he's loving it :). He just got it and hasn't bumped the ISO settings yet though. The Rebel XT/20D sensor is a GOD for high ISO settings though. 400 is little to none, 800 isn't bad, and 1600 can be fixed :). I got mine for $900 with the 18/55mm lens.

Aaah yeah, see, that's the hard part for me. Technically, the XT is a great camera, and performs like a champ! But when I go and hold it, it just feels uncomfortable, due to my medium-large hands. Is there anyway to add something onto the grip, so that it's not quite so small?

There's an additional grip that I hear people like. It allows you to use more batteries as well.

That goes in the bottom of the camera where the battery goes.
