😱...I cant remember where the insulators go... on the standoffs or on the screws that mount the mobo.... I know this is stupid but its been 5 yrs since my last build

Yeah, but there aren't any "insulators" involved in doing that. Standoffs go into the case, motherboard screws into the standoffs.
 
there are fiber washers that came with the case tha will either for the standoffs or the screws that hold the board onto the standoffs
