quick question

I'm trying to get an old paper border off the wall so I can repaint, and some of it is coming up really easily and some of it is sticking like hell, to where we have to scrape up some of the drywall to get it off. Is there anything that will make it come off easier? I want to get this project done by the end of the week so I need this to go faster.

dont they make tools to scratch wallpaper, and some kind of mild glue remover to help do this? hit up lowes or home depot and ask someone

just paint over it... or spackle over it to cover it, then paint it.
