This shows you how to install and setup a client. I joined TA thru the website. In one of the steps listed, it says to join Team Anandtech via CLi client. Do i need to do that since i joined from the website ? Thanks all.

you still need to join the team.

😕 I think if you joined from the website, that's all you need to do (besides crunch, of course. 😉) I don't think the CLi client has the functionality to join a team from within it.

Edit: To your next question, all you need to do is select your previous account, using your e-mail address, on each CLi client.

How many machines do you have? 🙂

if you joined following the process on that website then yes you are a part of the team.

please ignore all future ramblings untill my caffine level is at the 90 % level 😉

LOL, thanks guys, was just making sure. Got 3 computers and 2 laptops. was using the screensaver but i heard cli was a tad faster or whatever so why not 🙂

More questions, lol, thanks for your patience ! How long you think the CLI version is going to last before BOINC is the only one allowed ? Is it going to be ? Really liking the CLI version, lol and thanks for the responses.

Glad to have you with us! Berkely wanted to shut down SETI Classic for several years by now, but as long as their BOINC version of it is still buggy and sucky SETI Classic wil still go on, but probably not any longer than 6 months, maybe even less.
