If I order a Dell laptop online today (Inspiron 9100), is there a good chance of me getting it before the 5th of May? I MUST get a new laptop before or on that date, and I just don't like the ones that are sold at bestbuy/compusa etc. Or can anyone suggest a laptop comparable to the Dell that I'll be able to get before my deadline? Thanks
 
You might want to check out http://www.notebookforums.com and check under the Dell forums. You *might* get a 9100 by May 5th but generally the lead times seem to be around 3 weeks or so. At least, it seems that the wait is that long.......from what I've read on that forum that I linked you to.
