Ice Age, and the upcoming Robots are made by the same people.

EDIT: Fox Animation Studios. They also made Titan AE (an underrated movie IMO).

Besides Dreamworks and Pixar no one in the states does, their are numerous Japanese companies that make feature legnth CGI movies though and a couple from Hong Kong. Mostly "Anime" tho.

Disney has created their own studio to handle computer animation films once their deal with Pixar is finished, although it hasn't produced anything yet.

If you want to play sementics, no one makes movies LIKE Pixar, because Pixar's movies are the best out of any of the animation studios.

most of pixars studd is done with maya and renderman

That's true, I forgot Maya. I've never heard of Renderman before though, is it just a model renderer?

Square Enix.

yeah, the videogames sector really does have a lot of talent when it comes to that...

And mind you, making a full-length feature film isn't proportionally harder than just making cutscenes, since all your characters and half your background needs to be made either way...

actually, it's a stand alone rendering engine that has bridges to popular apps. maya is the most common, but you can use it with just about any 3d app with the right tools.

interestingly enough, just about every major 3d studio uses renderman, even pixar's biggest competitors (dreamworks, and likely the new disney studio).

At $15k a seat, that's gotta be a tough nut to swallow if you don't like pixar to start with.
