Well I missed the Dell coupon deal but I'd appreciate opinions so I can pounce next time.

20 gig V2 Ipod Refurb (from Apple not currently up) $299

Vs.

15 gig V3 Ipod new w/Dell coupons $324

old is cheaper w/ better battery life and more space

new is cooler, new firmware, smaller etc.

Also curious to know if anyone ever gets these Dell deals actually shipped?

I've been hearing none of the Dell deals are getting shipped.

I'm in the market for an iPod as well.

i'd get the new one. i think it's overall probably better in the long run not to have any movable parts on it. plus having both usb2.0 and firewire on it gives you the ability to use either depending on how many free ports you have.
