Quick question regarding Vista installation and Ram

I have been waiting to install Vista home premium 64bit because my 2 more gigs of ram has not arrived yet.

I know I can install Vista and add more ram later but is it better to wait for the ram and install when I have 4 gigs? or will either situation be the same.

Thanks on advance for you input

How much ram do you have now and what do you mean about the "situation"?

If you have enough ram to use now, just go ahead and install vista. That way you'll see the difference the extra ram makes when you install it and congradulate yourself for making a great purchase. Or not.

Go ahead and install Vista Just do not enter the CD key when prompted. This will give you 30 days. Then after you get the RAM and all driver issues worked out. Then activate and give them the CD key.

thanks for the responses guys. I will go ahead and intall vista. I was just worried about the memory allocation and was wondering if vista will re allocate if it detects that more memory has been installed.

BTW I have 2 gigs now and will put in 2 more when it arrives hope fully I can get them to run at 1T like my current ram
