Quick question regarding Plextor Burner and Nero software

before installing my plextor in this computer and using nero use to convert mp3s to wavs perfect even with scratces. Now in my new computer that i passed the plextor to and nero to if the song has a scratch it stops converting there. So lets say i;m converting a 5 minute song to wav, if the song has a scratch on 3minutes and 10 seconds then thats were the song stops converting and i wont be able to burn the whole song. How do i change this so i wont have to download other versions? Thanks
 
what is scratched, the mp3 or the disc?

An Mp3 can't be scratched. The have bad frames. If the frames get to bad, sometimes it can make nero act funny. Try and re rip it
