Quick question regarding Canon i850

Just out of curiousity, does the Canon i850 come with full or starter cartridges? I'm still deciding on whether to buy the printer or not. The printer itself is in my budget range BUT if it comes with starter cartridges, I have to buy a set of cartridges which can run about $50 total (authentic Canon ones; not generics). That would put the printer out of my budget range.

Canon comes with full carts. $118 for i850 + USB cable + Ink + paper @ Sams

The carts last FOREVER too. I've printed out insane amounts of stuff and it's still kicking.

Generic ink is plentiful and cheap too.

I hate canon ink. especially with their Sponge bull crap they put in th carts.
It dries out when you don't use em.
It doesn't happen to HP or Epson.

Then don't buy a printer you won't use, duh.

Also it's better than buying $25-40 printheads from HP/Epson/Lexmark

I haven't bought a print head for my Epson since I got it.

I do print alot but the Canon Ink dries out like no other.
It's a POS.

You must have something defective in your printer. I have no problem with the ink drying out.
And are we talking about the i850 here?

Oh, and FYI, when you buy print carts for your Lexmark or HP printer, you're automatically buying new printheads. Hence the extra cost.
Epsons and Canons don't do that though. Both are good printers.
