quick question...PC133 SDRAM on PC100 board?

would i be able to put PC133 SDRAM on a board that takes only PC100 SDRAM? my cousin wants to upgrade his RAM, but his only takes PC100...and newegg only sells PC133.

anyhow i'm pretty sure it would work, but i just wanted to double check myself with all you comp gurus :)

You're gonna wanna also make sure that it is the same size:)

I assume it is the standard size: 168pin DIMM

It'll work just fine. I've used PC133 SDRAM on 100 MHz, 112 MHz and 133 MHz FSB systems.

Generally speaking RAM clocked at a greater speed or equal to the motherboard's FSB will work just fine as long as the slot is pin compatable with it (ie the RAM fits into the slot).
