quick question on XP/Vista dual boot with 2 HDDs

Homerboy

Lifer
I currently have XP installed on HDD0 and I would like to do a dual boot with Vista on HDD1
I assume I just run the standard install for Vista (Ultimate) and it will prompt me where to install and I choose HDD1 and I will be left with a dual boot system?

Basically, yes.

Just keep in mind that the bootloader is going to be loaded on whichever drive the system is booting from (presumably XP) so the Vista bootloader will overwrite what you have there.

Have fun,

Erik
