quick question on virtual memory

windows says my system page file is too small and virtual memory is low, do I just increase this size? Will this effect my system performance?

is it best to have it set to "system manage" or set a certain amount?


I have 256mb ram and running winXP sp1.

Yes. Choose to let Windows manage it for you.

Let Windows manage it for you. If it keeps giving you errors either clear out some space or move the pagefile to a different partition.
