Quick question on Ubuntu...

So I was playing around with Xubuntu and decided to try Ubuntu.

1 - Whats the difference between DVD iso and CD iso? Does the DVD include extras which must be downloaded? Is that the only difference?

The DVD includes tons of extra packages you would usually download after installing ubuntu. Thats it.
