Quick Question on Swiftech Storm

Just got my Storm today (last peice of WC kit for me 😀) and I'm wondering, (if you have it or know about it), would you use teflon tape to put in the barbs to prevent leakage?
I've heard about using teflon take on any screw hole in a WC setup, so does this apply to the storm as well?

For barbs in general, you always use Teflon tape. So yes, I would 🙂

I put about 4 clean, even wraps of tape on all my barb fittings, cranked 'em good and snug, everything is nice and leak-free.

Oh, and Wizboy, before you install that Storm, crack it open w/the allen wrench they give you and inspect the top of the copper plate. I just found some corrosion on the inside, in and around the cups. Scrubbed it with lemon juice/salt mixture and a toothbrush, gave it a good rinse and dry.

All is OK now... but I shouldn't have to crack open and clean a brand new $85 block.
