I'm looking for the fastest way for me to get from Jersey City to Midtown Manhattan (57th St.) right now (about ~5:00pm).

I'm leaning towards taking the Path train up to 33rd and the walking / cabbing it the rest of the way.

I could also take a cab (Holland tunnel), but don't know how long it would take or how much it would cost (assuming it would be insanely expensive).

I'll need to make the same trip back later (around 10 or 11) if anyone has any suggestions for that.

Thanks.

Thank you very much.

Plugging in my location (closer to the newport stop), that site recommends that I take the path up to 33rd and then transfer. This makes me think it would be quicker to do what I thought at first (path to 33rd, taxi to 57th [I'm going more towards the east side])
