Yes, and you could disable system restore, kill the extra services, tweak the registry, etc., and all you'd end up with is basically Windows 2000. Why go to all the work? Unless you need XP because of some program or strange hardware that you have that is not supported by an NT kernel before XP, Windows 2000 is the way to go, IMHO.Originally posted by: Daniel
