quick question: how do you capture screen in xp?

Too grab the entire screen just hit PrintScrn, to get just the active window hit Alt+PrintScrn

Print Screen alone will capture the whole screen.

Alt-Print Screen will just capture the active window.

Then you can paste it.

edit - beaten 🙁

Why would you pay money when you can get a screen shot free. 😕

uhm... pay?

😱

i see a "TRY IT" option...

download..
install..
snag.

plus.. you get 30 days.. after that you only get a little 'banner' in the bottom which says 'captured by snagit'.. and it's so much more customizable.

Send the screenshot directly to the printer, a file, an e-mail, or the Web.
Capture only SECTONS of a page, without having to edit a picture file.
Add text and anything else right from the program.
it's worth it.

It's a different product. It's not for still captures, but for recording the deskop, IE: giving presentations and showing how to do things on your computer.

Snagit.. can be used for everything... i use it for image capturing, as well as video.
