quick question.... how do i open a *.tar.gz?

i know *.tar can be opened in winzip but what about filename.tar.gz?

its a php script i downloaded off a site
i tried renamed it to filename.tar and take off the gz but it didnt work
help?

isn't .gz the mac compression standard?

.gz (gzip is the compression part, .tar means multiple files put together in one archive. Winzip can uncompress it first, then open the .tar file.
