quick question, how can I check that my tbird 1.33 ghz is unlocked? -nt

well if it isn't installed with a heatsink on top of it, Check the L1 bridges. If it is already installed, just change the multiplier from defailt (10) to 10.5, if it posts as 1396 then it is unlocked. If it stays at 1330, then it is locked

Just look at the row of dots next to the L1 on top of the cpu, more commonly known as the "L1 bridges". If the 4 pairs of dots next to the L1 are connected, it's unlocked. If they've been cut... it's locked.
