quick question.. have a compaq presario 2500

from a hot deal early this year.. it came with 256mb DDR RAM. I assume the laptop RAM is different than desktop RAM, correct? Also, does anyone know how many RAM slots it has?

I don't have it with me, or else i'd open it up.
