I know this may be off topic but I need an answer quick, please don't close!

I'm at a mini LAN Party right now and am having trouble connecting to games while going through the same router. Me and a friend want to play on the same server together. When he tries to connect it just comes up as "Loading...". It doesn't go through it's normal routine. Anybody know if we can play on same server? Please offer any help. We are ready to play!

 
What game, and what router?


Some games do not support NAT. Starcraft will not work behind a router. Counterstrike will.
 
It's Counter-Strike with the Linksys 4-port router.

I just got my answer though, we are trying to play with my 2 PCs which have the same CD Key for each. The newest version of HL won't let you do this, even on a LAN...🙁
