Quick question for those that have the Blockbuster Online Rental.

I just signed up for the 1 month free trial. I used the 2 free instore coupons earlier in the week but I gotta ask, do they keep track of them at all? What if I were to use them at a different store? Any experience with this? I'm just curiuos. Thanks 🙂

No in store membership, just go in and rent whatever you want.

Just an update..I think the 2nd person that responded misunderstood my question. Regardless, they do keep track of the e-coupons, at least at the same store. They wouldn't let me reuse them.

No, you cannot re-use the coupons. The system will not allow redemption and an error will display.


Yes, you need an in-store membership to use the coupons.

Confirmed. And I also tried it at a different store. They even knew when the coupons were first used!

If you read on the Blockbuster site, it explains that the e-coupons are linked to your online account. Once they are used, at any location, they are marked *used* and are no longer valid for any location. I think that was the jist of it anyhow.
