Quick question for ppl who bought SD450/500/550/600/etc from Dell

Hi,
Ill be traveling in less than a month...non-stop for 2 months (mid May to mid July)

I'd like to purchase a Canon SD from Dell for this trip but their website states that all of the models im considering have 6+ wk of expected delivery... which will not get to me in time


I know there was a big Canon hot deal buy recently... what was the shipping status of those cameras at that time and how long did it take for you all to receive the camera? Thanks

My Canon S2 IS stated 6+ weeks and shipped two days after ordering (shipped on a Sundy no less). YMMV but I don't think the 6 week thing holds too much water.

I bought an SD450 and a S2 IS form Dell, they both shipped within a week of ordering.
