if I write in a letter, " The company who made these products is a partner of Ico Ltd, and both companies have teamd up to promote this new line of product"

Does it imply that Ico ltd owns part of "the company who made these products"

If not , how can I repharse the sentence to convery that meaning?

That sentence is kind of redundant and doesn't really convey the meaning. It sounds more like the other company is a separate company not owned by Ico.

Try this maybe:

"These products are brought to you by Ico Ltd. and So and So Company, owned in part by Ico Ltd.

Does that work?

Maybe: Ico Ltd. and So and So Company, partly owned by Ico Ltd. have teamed up to promote this line of products?

I'm not sure if this is the correct term but can you say something like this..

"The company who made these products and its parent company, lco ltd, have teamed up to promote this new line of product"

That might work, but it would imply that "the company" is a subsidary of Ico, wouldnt it?
