I just wanted to be sure about this before I get one, the NF7-S can only output an encoded digital signal through an optical out?
I'm not talking about the separate front and rear analog output jacks, I just want to know how the board outputs the dd encoded signal, my current board has an rca style spdif jack (copper) as the output, but in pictures of the abit I don't see any rca-style spdif connector or add on card/panel with one.
So basically I'm trying to verify, if you want to pass the dd encoded signal from the NF7-S to a receiver you HAVE to use an optical cable?
any info is appreciated
