quick question (drive sharing)

Yes.

That's what I am doing on my lan ->

1 WinXP(Pro) server
2 WinXP(Pro) workstations
2 Win98se workstations.

Gershel is correct, you can share win98 & xp drives over a network, but beware !!!
I fought this tooth & nail for two days.
You have to have your "guest" account enabled in XP. This throws out any security you have in XP pro.
The data xfer rate is reallllly slow.
Win XP does not support win98 netowrk protocol "netbeui"
You can install netbeui manually from the xp install disk after your xp O.S. is loaded
Installing netbeui in xp does help the data xfer rate between and xp machine & a 98 machine.

Have fun
