quick question: does officexp need to be activated online?

im wondering if officexp is similar to winxp, in that it needs to be activated online?

From what I understand it depends on the type, Corporate Edition does not for sure. Not sure about the rest.

WinXP does not have to be activated online. You can dial the 888 number and acivate over the phone. I don't think you should have to with OfficeXP because not everyone has internet access on their pc.

Office XP and later releases of Office 2K both need activated, not necessarily on-line though.
