Remember, this is a computer. Computers are 100% accurate as far as math and operations unless of course there was user error or a malfunctioning part. The move commands would not corrupt your data unless your hard drive failed at that very moment... which goes without saying you'll lose your data.
Fragmented video files typically don't exist in the first place, as they are written at the same time and don't change - although I suppose if you were low on space and had a huge video file it could be fragmented - but moving things around won't mess any data up, even if you did it many decades ago.
