Quick question: Current intel equivalent to p4 2.4ghz?

Wanting to change a friend's PC from socket 478 hardware (agp card, ddr memory, non-vista supported sound card) over to a socket 775. I know what video card and memory to get and the mobo has integrated sound so I'm good there.

What current intel chip in 775 equals a p4 2.4ghz? I'm needing to be able to show them what their chip is current to to, or at least THE CLOSEST TO. That way I can explain their options.
