Quick question before my move from XP to Kubuntu
How hard is it to connect to shared files in OS 10.5?

I'm just tired of XP and want to move to linux, iv used *ubuntu on my laptop via VMware but never had it on a computer

You mean OS X 10.5? If you have Samba setup on both OS X and Ubuntu it should be just the same as connecting to any other Windows compatible share.

And yet they don't advertise it as OS X.5 Instead of being intentionally cryptic you should just say Leopard or whatever release codename you're talking about.
