quick question before I install my new GTX 680

I already have the latest Nvidia Drivers.

can I just take out my old video card and slap in the new one without having to uninstall and then reinstall the drivers since I already have the lastest drivers?

Typically you have to reinstall the drivers for them to access the new hardware properly. Not sure why, but this is generally the case I've seen.

I would uninstall your drivers first then turn off pc and install new card then re install drivers.

Use the latest Nvidia drivers for the 680. I think it's 301.10. toyota nailed it. Good luck. I have the Pny 680 GTX running 3 monitors and love it.
