Quick Question: Anyone ever done a cell phone rebate through Amazon?

I am going to sign a two year contract through Cingular. And then buy this phone through Amazon.

I'm eligible for the rebate, right? Or is there some sort of service plan I have to buy THROUGH Amazon? I wasn't sure. Becuase I can't find the rebate form that says what I have to submit, so I'm not sure. If I can just fax a statement of my service through Cingular, then I'm sure that's all they need, right?

You have to buy the 2 year cingular plan THROUGH Amazon.com. It's an Amazon.com rebate, not a Cingular rebate.
 
Ahhhhh, I see.

That's what I was afraid of. They are giving me some real kick a$$ plan right now at Cingular, so there's no way I'm going through Amazon.
