Quick question about wall speaker mounting

I'm trying to wall mount a pair of surround speaker above/behind my couch and am not really sure what I need to do this. The couch is against the wall without much room on the sides, so speaker stands probably aren't an option.

For reference, this is what I'm working with:

I was looking at some of the items on this site, but I'm really open to anything. Is there so kind of standard adapter for mounting speakers like there is for mounting TVs- I couldn't find much information on the matter. I appreciate any cost effective recommendations, thanks!

I have fairly large rear speakers, JBL S38's so I ended up using TV mounts. They're the kind you would use for a 20" CRT TV. Worked great and they can be adjusted two ways.

I'm using some BTECH BT-77 mounts to hold speakers that are bigger than those speakers. They are supposed to be able to hold up to 55 lbs and I believe it... they are sturdy and mounted very firmly. I also think they look pretty good. They are the only wall mounts I've ever had to use, but I'm pleased with them. So I have no problems recommending the BTECH mounts.

Thanks for the help. What I am trying to figure out is if those two threaded sockets on the back are some sort of standard for mounting. They don't look too deep and I'm not really sure what I would use to fasten those to a bracket.

With those BTECH BT-77 mounts I mentioned above you wouldn't have to worry about that. They clamp on to the sides to hold the speakers in place. The speakers mine are holding are holding look to be a fair amount bigger than yours and they are solidly in place without any screws. They do come with screws that you can use to screw into the sides for extra support if you want, but I didn't want to screw through the outside of the speakers (a lot of mounts ask you to do that, BTW). The only thing is those mounts might be a bit bigger than you would need. They would likely be bigger than the speakers themselves.... but it's hard to judge from the picture just how big those speakers are.

The 77s look fine, but at 70 bucks they seem like overkill for little 2-3lb speakers. It seems like th BT-33 or -34s may be what I am look for though

I think they are. If the mounting solution you select doesn't include any mounting hardware get a thread guage, measure the holes and then purchase what you need.
