quick question about verizon "family" plan

what are the family plan rates?

my dad is thinking of signing up with verizon for cell phones.. and i was hoping i can sign up with them as well under his plan (so basically under the family plan thing and pay $20 per add on the same bill)
does it have to be 4 people to sign up for the family plan? it'll only be me and my dad... if not, what is the best plan for verizon to go with?

it doesn't have to be 4, u can sign up just 2 if you want.

it's additional $20.00 / month just to add the second phone. then whatever plan you choose both phones use minutes from that plan. you also get a certain number of cell to cell minutes.
 
Nope, 2 is fine .. it doesn't have to be 4.

I believe it's $20 additional per line AFTER the first 2 but I could be wrong.

but isn't that the whole point of the family plan other than the unlimited family-to-family minutes? i really hope it's just extra $20/month for additional line

i need to ask verizon when i find the time...

nope, it's $20/ month just to be able to share the minutes u buy in ur plan. the $20/month only gets you the right to share minutes and like 1000 cell to cell minutes / month.

also EACH additional phone including 2nd one is additional $20/month
