I just got my parts:

XP2100+ (0301)
Epox 8RDA+
OCZ 512MB PC3200 EL DDR
Thermalright SK-7 W/ Thermal Take Smart Fan II

I'm a newbie to overclocking and have been messing around with the multiplier, fsb, mem timings, and voltages.

The question I had was, in BIOS settings my VCore is set to 1.8V, but in Windows, the USDM program that came with motherboard shows VCore at 1.856V.

When people say to try and stick to 1.85V or less, does that mean in BIOS settings or in the USDM program.

I want to raise the voltage to get higher FSBs, but if i change it to 1.85V, the windows USDM program will probably give me a reading of like 1.88-1.90V, and I don't want to fry my system.

i think it should be okay....

yeah i am running mine as well at 1.85vcore in the bios and the USDM shows it between 1.856 - 1.872

i think most people will agree that anything under 1.85V is okay...

wow is epox overvolting as well?
usually asus is the only one...with others undervolting...wahtever

look at the in windows voltage, thats what is referred to as "actual vcore" , its more accurate as to what voltage the cpu is feeding off

yeah, the epox is a great board.. it overvolts ALSO

the default vdimm voltage is 2.63 (not 2.5v) :) it's like they want you to overclock :)
