Quick question about SLI and widescreen LCDs

I read that there are issues with SLI and widescreen LCDs. My question is, what is the problem? Has it been fixed in drivers yet (betas)?

Just curious, because I might be going SLI soon and have the Dell 2405, just curious if I'll have problems.

I wouldn't have made a new thread, but those 2005 and other SLI threads are so long and full of flaming and whatnot that I figure I'd be able to get an answer faster/easier this way.
