I'm about to sell my car and there's a signature on the bottom for the lienholder to release interest of the vehicle. What exactly is a lienholder and do I need to sign it?
 
Leinholder would be the bank on a car that you took out a loan to pay for. If the car is paid off, you don't need to worry about it.
