Quick Question about Sams Club and gas

if its the same for everyone, i think you have to be a member to get their price of gas


regular price for everyone else?

Yep must be member.

You slide your membership card first then slide your payment card 2nd.

There were conflicting answers in this thread, but they are actually both correct as it depends on the station.

Near my house, there is a Sam's Club that requires membership to get gas. HOWEVER, there are plenty of Sam's Clubs that discount their gas 5-cents for members, 3-cents when using a Wal-Mart Gift card, or posted price for everyone else. I always thought it was illoical for someone to pay full price when they could simply walk into Wal-mart, buy a gift card using their debit or credit card, then go get gas for 3-cents less using the gift card.

Er, to fill up my Explorer with 18 gallons, $0.03 works out to about $0.50 for the fill-up. Not worth getting out of the car, walking into the store, etc.

Then again I don't shop at Wal-Mart so doesn't make a difference to me :)
