Quick Question....... about RAM

I know crucial is the best but the fact is i picked up some ram really cheap, and would just like your oppinion about what would perform better.....

512 Kingston Value ram PC133

512 Mushkin w/IBM chip PC 133

If you have both, bench them.


I would generally take kingston value over mushkin value, but you said Kingston Value vs mushkin with ibm chips. I am 90% sure Kingston value is rated cas 3, but normal Mushkin is rated cas 2 (so the mushkin wins).
