Quick Question about Printer and Netgear router

Hello All...I looked and fooled around with this but can not get it to work.

Any ideas

I have a HP880c Ink Jet printer (Connected VIA USB Port), Windows XP Home. Everything has worked fine!

I just recently installed a Netgear Wireless router and now the printer will not work.

I tried:

Removing the Printer form my system and when I boot back up, nothing is found.
Making it a network printer....
And lots of other things....

What do I have to do to get my printer to work again?

Did you run the network setup wizard or anything when you installed the netgear? Sounds like file & print sharing has been disabled or switched to that godawful "simple" mode.

edit: nevermind you're talking about a local printer.

Hmmm.... I can't think of any reason why installing a wireless device should interfere at all with the functionality of a local printer. Were you sharing the printer somehow, or just printing to it directly?

If you remove the netgear router from the equation, does the printer work?

What errors are you getting? The printer doesn't work, but what symptoms is it showing?
