Quick question about PowerQuest Drive image

I am getting ready to do a "Drive copy" and it say all data will be overwritten. Nowhere in the documentation does it say weather or not it is going to format or just copy over stuff with the same name. So what does it actually do?

i wouldnt risk it and assume that it will delete everything

Thats what I was thinking
