Does the iRiver 700 series support playlists? It's either this or an ipod nano, since I need a small flash player that supports playlists. Or is there another option that I haven't heard of?

I am pretty sure both of them do or at least they should, I don't know though. I have an Cowon iAudio 5 and with that one you can even create and edit the playlists on the MP3 player. I am really happy with that little player: sound is awesome, size is awesome and battery life is also great.

well ofcourse the nano supports playlists. you can even create playlists on the iPod. I don't see a reason why the iRiver 700 series wouldn't support playlists, although i imagine you would either have to create them with WMP, or create them yourself. (try opening any playlists with notepad, and you'll see what i mean.) the nano, again is probablly tied to iTunes unless you use a 3rd party app. in iTunes you can easily create playlists and then drag and drop. enjoy. i have an iPod mini and it rocks!
