I'm using sbcyahoo dsl so how can I find my ip address so other people can connect to me? This is the only thin that I can find. 192.***.*.* From what i know, this is a Local Ip adress. Any input would help. THanks.

WOW, thanks. it worked great.
Follow up question. How do I delete this post since I don't want to take up people's time to read this worthless thread now.

You can't delete the thread. You can change the title to "LOCK" or something similar.

If you just leave it alone it will drop off the main page anyway.

Lawrencetan21: other than that website, you can always do this

Start -- > Run -- > "cmd" -- > "ipconfig /all"

This will show you your IP adress along with your hostname, DNS suffix, ethernet card info, mac adress, subnet mask, default gateway, dhcp server and dns servers 🙂

I think he already did that because he knew his PC's IP was actually 192.168.x.x

The info he actually needed was the IP of his DSL Modem.
